The Engineering/Construction Department is responsible for plan review and monitoring construction of new, existing water, sewer and reclaimed water projects within the Authority’s service area.

Seacoast’s award winning, state-of-the-art membrane water treatment plant not only produces drinking water quality of the highest quality, it also allows waste stream recycling that many similar facilities do not. This feature alone saves up to 3 million gallons of fresh water per day, enough to meet the drinking water needs of 24,000 people.

Seacoast Authority has received the GFOA’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Report for the Fiscal Year Ended September 30, 2019. This is the 16th year the Authority has received this award. Application and review for Fiscal Year End September 30, 2020 is pending.
