Seacoast Utility Authority is committed to excellence in customer service. Juno Isles West Water Main Improvements

  • Installation of a new water main, water services for each residence, and fire hydrants.
  • Abandonment, or removal and disposal, of the existing water main.
  • The crossing of Ellison Wilson Road with the water main for future connections to service residents east of Ellison Wilson Road.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to, roadways, driveways, sidewalks, existing utilities, irrigation, sodding, trees, landscaping, mailboxes, light poles, and thermoplastic striping.

Donald Ross Road Low Pressure Force Main

  • Installation of approximately 300’ of 3” HDPE Low Pressure Force Main horizontally directional drilled under Donald Ross Rd. This installation brings a low pressure force main connection to the intersection of Old Donald Ross Rd and Harbor Ln.
  • Construction will be in the areas of the North East Corner of the Azure development parking lot and Harbor Ln / Old Donald Ross Rd Intersection.

JASMINE DRIVE TO SOUTHWIND DRIVE FORCE MAIN AND WATER MAIN CROSSING OF NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD AND C-17 CANAL

  • Installation of approximately 2650’ new 12” force main via horizontal directional drill method beneath Northlake Blvd and the Earman River and open trench cut method on Southwind Dr.
  • Installation of approximately 600’ of 6” new water main beneath the Earman River via horizontal directional drill method to loop water main distribution system for water quality control purposes.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required on Jasmine Dr. and Southwind Dr. throughout the duration of the project.
  • Daytime lane closures will generally consist of a single lane closure.
  • Walkway / Sidewalk on the south side of the tennis courts will be temporarily closed throughout the duration of the project.

Captains Key Infrastructure Improvements 

  • Description: Replacement of all water main in the neighborhood that has reached the end of its useful life. Relocation and replacement of fire hydrants. Installation of a Low Pressure Force Main to give residents the ability to connect to SUA’s sewer system.
  • Construction will take place in the Captains Key Neighborhood and US Highway 1 / Captains Key Dr. intersection.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.
  • Municipality: Unincorporated Palm Beach County.

MARINA DRIVE WATER MAIN LOOP

  • Installation of approximately 230’ of 8” HDPE water main via horizontal directional drill method to create a loop in the water distribution system to reduce the number of customers without water in the event of a water break or a water shut down.
  • Replacement of fire hydrant.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project on Marina Dr. and in the alley way between U.S. Hwy 1 and Marina Dr.
  • Daytime lane closures will generally consist of a single lane closure.

  • Installation of approximately 1,740’ of 8” force main via open cut method and directional drill method to replace an existing force main that has reached end of its useful life.
  • Construction will take place from Coastal Cir. and Flamingo Rd. to Princewood Ln. and Hood Rd., in the Palm Beach Gardens area.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.
  • Daytime lane closures will generally consist of a single lane closure.

Force Main By Nautilus by Others

  • Description: Installation of 3,081’ of new 6” PVC force main from new sanitary lift station at Bayberry Dr. and U.S. Highway one to Greenbriar Dr. and 2nd
  • The installation of the new lift station and force main is to service residents of the Nautilus building being constructed at Cypress Dr. and U.S. Highway One.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.

Mary Circle & Dania Drive Water & Sewer Improvements

  • Description: Construction of 930 linear feet of 8” ductile iron pipe water main, 2,468 of 6” ductile iron pipe water main, and six fire hydrants to provide potable water to 62 residential units.
  • Construction will take place on Mary Circle and Dania Drive.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.

Prosperity Farms Road C-17 Bridge-Water Main Replacement

  • Description: Replacement of 16” and 12” ductile iron pipe water mains, including an aerial crossing.
  • Construction will take place on Prosperity Farms Road from Hummingbird Way, north to Ibis Way.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.

Congress Avenue and Avocado Drive Utility Relocation

  • Replacement of 420’ of 16” D.I.P water main via open cut, 60’ of 6” D.I.P. water main via open cut, and 420’ of 16” D.I.P. Raw water main via open cut. Replacement of approximately 450’ of 2” HDPE force main inside 52’ of proposed 4” casing and existing 398’ 4” casing, replacement of 100’ of 8” sanitary sewer. Installation of two manholes and two connections to existing system. Upgrading our water and sewer facilities prior to the Congress Avenue extension.
  • Construction will take place on Loquat St / Park Ln and Avocado Ln. in the Unincorporated Palm Beach County Area.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.

Hinda Road & Alternate A1A Water Main Loop

  • Description: Installation of 450 linear feet of 6” ductile iron pipe water main via open cut method. Relocation and replacement of one fire hydrant. The connection of these two “Dead end” water mains will help with Seacoast’s water quality control and help keep customers in service during controlled or emergency water main shut downs.
  • Construction will take place on Hinda Rd and Alternate A1A.
  • Restoration of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including, but not limited to: Roadways; Driveways; Sidewalks; Existing utilities; Irrigation; Sodding; Landscaping; Mailboxes; Light poles; and Pavement striping.
  • Short term lane closures will be required throughout the duration of the project.
  • Municipality: Palm Beach County.

PLANNING AND FUTURE PROJECTS

Preliminary planning for pipeline infrastructure replacement is underway. A planning map depicts future projects with estimated dates of construction. Priority is considered by age, failure history, service history, and materials concerning the likelihood/consequence of failure.
