FINANCE

The Finance Department through its established financial policies is responsible for the financial reporting and recordkeeping of the Authority.  The Finance Department is comprised of the following Divisions: the Accounting Division, Purchasing Division and Information Systems Division.

ACCOUNTING • BUDGET • REPORTING

The Accounting Division of the Finance Department manages the Authority’s budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, internal controls, pension administration, and annual external audits.

PURCHASING

The Purchasing Division is responsible for purchasing goods and services from reliable vendors at the lowest possible costs and receiving formal bids from contractors and vendors submitted to Seacoast Utility Authority. The Purchasing Division is also responsible for maintaining the inventory warehouse used to supply all departments with the necessary materials to support the daily operation of the Authority.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Information Technology (I.T.) Division of the Finance Department is responsible for all computer and network related planning, implementation and support for the Authority.
