Seacoast will be conducting its annual “pre-hurricane season” emergency generator load test during the following period:
All diesel powered electrical generators located at the Hood Road Water Plant (southwest corner of Hood Road and the FEC Railway) will be operated under load for a full 24 hour period.
Though all generators are located inside concrete block buildings, nearby residents may hear them running, particularly during late night hours when traffic and other noise impacts are minimal.
Annual load testing is essential to confirm that emergency power equipment is capable of powering public water supply, treatment and delivery equipment during an extended FPL power outage. We deeply appreciate your patience during this critically important exercise.
